fume hood manufacturers in India

A fume hood is an important laboratory equipment which is used for ventilation purpose mostly in every research areas and hospitals. It is specially designed to limit the exposure to toxic fumes and hazardous dust. A fume hood is one of the best equipment that shields the researchers from contaminated fumes inside the laboratory. This is mandatory lab equipment that should be installed in every lab that deals with chemical and toxic applications. This is partially enclosed workspaces that exhausting fumes outside of the work area. A fume hood is a large piece of equipment and covers a large area of workspace and once it gets fixed it is hard to move because of its heavy weight.
This amazing equipment comes with tempered safety glass which allows examiners to observe the students who conduct the experiment. The unit has a sash which allows toxic fumes to goes out via hood. It is very easy to use and clean unit and requires less maintenance. Mainly fume hood is made up of stainless metal and corrosive substances such as thermoplastic to protect fume hood from corrosion.
The efficiency of fume hoods is evaluated by a speed of the air flow between the workplace and the sash. If the velocity of the fume hood is greater than it easily flush out the toxins gases and vapors

Generally, there are two types of fume hoods are available in market i.e perchloric acid systems and radioisotope hood systems. The first model of hood prevent the buildings or workspace volatile perchlorate salts along the exhaust systems and radioisotope hood systems are made up of stainless steel which prevents the work area from the absorption of radioactive elements. Currently, fume hood manufacturers in India are putting their extra efforts to make this machine more reliable and efficient.

What is Germination Chamber

A germination chamber is a laboratory equipment which provides an optimum environment for decreasing germination time of seeds and increasing the number of seeds that germinate. This chamber maintains the temperature and humidity levels to create a favorable environment. Germination chambers are only used in the initial growth phase of seeds and have a capacity to hold thousands of seedlings. These chambers come with the heating unit and separate water supply allows heat to radiate upwards. In the germination chamber, flats containing seeded soil blocks are laid out horizontally. In these chambers, insulation material allows the light to enter from the top or sides of the unit.

Now germination chamber comes with a removable roof so that watering can be easily done. Slow speed fans ensure the heat circulation throughout the chamber. These chambers provide a better environment for seed growth as compared to large greenhouses. Its compacts size and well-insulated space provide control environment. Germination chambers require less water during irrigation and use less heat, which leads to higher efficiency. Extream humidity inside the chamber creates some problems like it can cause fungal and bacterial contamination. Therefore there is a humidity controller which control the humidity level of unit and maintain ideal humidity conditions inside the chamber.
